Hubdoc Addition Takes Xero Document Filing to the Next Level
As from 18th March 2020, Hubdoc, Xero's data capture tool, will be included in all Xero Starter, Standard or Premium plans. This upgrade to the already incredibly efficient and easy-to-use online accounting software platform will be a real game-changer for many people, saving even more time and hassle than ever before.
The addition of Hubdoc will allow you to easily upload and manage your bills and receipts, effectively saying Goodbye to manua data entry!
In some cases, you will even be able to connect your accounts directly to your supplier from Xero to have all invoices/receipts and statements be sent automatically into your Xero account where you will simply need to check and approve the file entry.
Getting rid of paper files and going paperless
Getting your books in order is key to staying on top of your finances. Bookkeeping takes a lot of time if you have to do it manually. With Hubdoc you can:
- Upload bills and receipts by taking a photo or scanning the document to then load to your Xero account via your PC, phone or email.
- Once documents are uploaded to Hubdoc, the key data is automatically extracted and synced to Xero as accurately categorised transactions with the original bill or receipt digitally attached.
- From there the transactions are ready for you to reconcile with your bank feed in Xero.
- All of your digital bills and receipts are searchable and easy to access from anywhere in the world, which is increasingly important with government requirements to report and hold digital records.
