DocuSign – Our Trusted Agreements System
With the recent events of this year, we realised that one of our biggest challenges was in getting financial documents and agreements completed and signed to legally accepted levels. Not being able to physically hand over documents or arrange signatures remotely became a bit of a headache for us all!
Which is how we have now got onto DocuSign. Now you can verify, sign and legalise documents with us by phone, tablet or your computer.
Signing Agreements Online
Using this trusted online document agreements platform not only saves everyone a lot of time and hassle – no need to drive into our office or worry about parking! – but it also means documents are signed and filed on time.
We will predominantly be using this system for getting your financial statements, minutes and tax returns signed. DocuSign is also great for working with multiple directors where we need signatures from a group for a single document.
Even if you are on holiday, away from the office or unable to get back to your desk in time, you can easily follow this simple online process to finalise and approve any legal document with us. Here’s how it works:
1. We will send you an email from our DocuSign platform – please note, this is NOT SPAM!
2. Click on the ‘Review Document’ button in the email.
3. A website browser page will open and you will be presented with our document to review, sign and file.
4. Click on and follow the Yellow Flags from ‘Start’ to ‘Finish’.
5. Your completed, signed document is now on our files.
The process is just as simple at our end – once we have received notification from DocuSign that your document is signed and saved, we will then add our signatures. DocuSign will then automatically send you a file copy once the document is signed by us as well for you to keep on file too.
Definitely NOT SPAM
To ensure no delays with using this system, we want to ensure everyone understands that these emails are definitely NOT SPAM. Depending on the firewalls or online security you have in place at your end, you may need to mark the first DocuSign email from us as ‘Not Junk’ or ‘Not SPAM’ to ensure no emails are missed in future.
The fact that we don’t need to create a paper trail with these agreements saves us all time, eliminates paper wastage and transporting documents, and makes signing documents a lot more efficient and secure. We can see immediately when a document is opened and signed which means we can send you reminders or give you a call if we see that you haven’t taken action so that we can offer guidance if needed.
